What made you choose our company:
On Sunday, November 29th, 2020 I decided to do a task that had been put off for 6 months – clean out the dryer duct to avoid a potential fire. So I attempted to open the access door to the crawl space but it was sealed shut. I eventually learned that it was because a pressured water line to our water heater had unexpectedly burst. The trapped vapor swelled up the wood. This water issue combined w/ a ground water issue needed to be addressed. So, I called and set up appointments w/ five companies that were listed on Angie’s list. I was impressed with all of them. This made the decision making difficult – at first. Eventually, Terra Firma rose to the top. They were not the cheapest but between their reputation, competence, and care, it was the right decision. A decision that took me 8 weeks to make. We were willing to go w/out a hot water heater and furnace until we felt comfortable with selecting the right company that would meet our needs and not just look to make a sale. This meant no showers, dishwasher, or heat. Ryan Bothman was our first point of contact. He was patient with me as I did my homework and asked lots of questions. For some, this proved to be intimidating, but not for Ryan. They were 8 weeks out but miraculously managed to get us in the following week. The team that did the installation was impressive. It was led by foreman, Tim and crew, Ellis and Tarin. They were polite, hardworking, and caring. The two-day, eight-hour project ended up requiring them to work thirteen hours on day two. Rather than complain and whine about the long hours, they were apologetic about any inconvenience it was causing us. Tim impressed me w/ his leadership. He was confident yet humble and led by example. He treated his crew with respect. We did a final walk-through and regardless to any technical details I wanted to have them do for touch up, the team was patient and accommodating. I struggle spending money on house projects, but this one was worth every penny.
