A result of soil expansion, this customer's foundation wall was unable to support the pressure, leading to cracking and bowing. In order to permanently stabilize and secure the wall, the CarbonArmor System was the most effective and ideal solution. In this system, fiber-reinforced straps are cured with high-strength epoxy to permanently adhere to the foundation wall, and braced at floor joists with steel brackets. The straps are 10x stronger than steel, yet flexible enough to contour against the wall itself.  

Our crew installed our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to permanently stabilize this customers bowing concrete block walls in their garage. 

To support, level, and stabilize the floor above this customer's basement, we installed SmartJack Support Posts. The posts provide a strong, reliable foundation and provide the necessary support to prevent the floor from sagging. The posts are adjustable and can be easily raised or lowered as needed. 

One of the main benefits of using carbon fiber straps for wall reinforcement is their high strength-to-weight ratio. Carbon fiber straps are incredibly strong and can withstand a significant amount of tension, making them ideal for stabilizing failing foundation walls. Additionally, these straps are non-corrosive and have a long lifespan, providing a durable solution that will last for years to come.

The deck posts had rotted and needed replaced. Concrete sonotubes were used so that the base of the posts would no longer rot. Additionally, the concrete sonotubes where recessed deep in the ground to abate future movement from freeze / thaw.
