We have repaired our client’s crawl space in Saint-Esprit after our client noticed his house floor was sagging.

As the foundation is raised and leveled, gaps and cracking can disappear as well as all the other symptoms associated with foundation settling.

Mr. Patry had a large crack in his concrete slab in the basement of his house that worried him. In addition to that, there were cracks in the shape of staircases on two walls of its foundation. They even created a possibility of straightening the house to its original position.

The foundation walls of Mr. Meilleur's house are cracked, arched, and sloped severely inward by almost 4 ”.

 The solution

 - Stop the movement by keeping the wall in place and allow it to recover over time.

To do this, our experts installed our GeoLock wall anchoring system. They are embedded in the stable soil away from the foundation wall and then attached to steel wall plates with long galvanized rods. When tightened, the anchors hold the wall in its current position. Over time, the anchors can be tightened to straighten the wall.

Mr. Meilleur can have the peace of mind because his walls are well held in place and can be straightened over time.
