Our inspector was at their home in no time and inspecting their space. He noted the moist soil ground, mud on the walls and practically everywhere, and the open vent. 
He went back to the homeowners and explained what was happening in their crawl space. There was an excessive amount of moisture coming from the uncovered soil ground, which was evaporating into the home and causing mold to grow! This mold was causing the mildew odor upstairs. Our inspector told them all about our encapsulation system and how it reduced moisture and also a few of the supporting products. They were all in and ready for the products to be installed!

This Kentucky homeowner had a problem with standing water constantly in his crawl space. He said that the space reeked of a mildew odor. The wood beams in his space were decaying and molding from the moisture.
