Recently, we had the privilege of working with the Church of Iraan, a cornerstone of its community for many years. Located far from typical contractor service areas, this project was unique not only in its remote location but also in its deep connection to the town’s history and its people.
When we first met with the church leaders, it was clear that their primary concern was the structural integrity of the building, particularly in the area where their youth and young members gather. This space holds a special place in their hearts, as it’s where the next generation of their community comes together. The church wasn’t just looking for repairs; they wanted to ensure the space would remain safe and welcoming for years to come.
The church had significant foundation issues that required immediate attention. Over time, the shifting soil had caused part of the building to settle unevenly. This not only posed a risk to the building’s structure but also affected the aesthetics of the space. The church leaders wanted a solution that would address both concerns—structural stability and a fresh, improved look.
To stabilize the foundation, we chose to install Supportworks push piers. These steel piers were driven deep into the stable soil layers beneath the church to provide the support needed to halt further settling. This ensured that the foundation would remain strong and secure over the long term.
Once the foundation was stabilized, we turned our attention to the aesthetic repairs. Using flexcrete and concrete, we restored the damaged areas, ensuring the space looked as good as new. The flexcrete allowed for a durable and smooth finish, blending seamlessly with the original structure, while the concrete provided the strength needed for long-lasting results.
By the end of the project, the church was not only stabilized but also revitalized. The area where their youth meet is now structurally sound and visually appealing—a space where future generations can gather safely and proudly.
Working with the Church of Iraan reminded us of the importance of preserving both the physical and emotional pillars of a community. We’re honored to have played a part in maintaining this important building, ensuring it remains a place of gathering and growth for years to come.
A customer reached out after seeing a video of concrete lifting using injection methods and wondered if it could work for their front porch. Their home, built in 1968, features a large concrete porch with a section that originally had a planter between it and the house. At some point, the planter was covered with concrete, which has since sunk about 4 inches. Both sections measure approximately 8x12. While the porch itself was fine, they wanted a solution to lift the concrete over the old planter rather than starting from scratch. Legacy inspected the situation and provided a tailored solution to restore their home.
These stairs at an apartment complex were sinking and pulling away from the structure. Our crew used our Polylevel foam to lift them back into place. The "exposed" foam was then sprayed with waterproof gray paint so that it looked like concrete.
This large patio was cracked and broken. It was unusable to the homeowner.
In one day, we lifted and leveled the concrete and sealed all the joints.
The homeowner was so happy that he could now use his patio again to host parties!
This driveway had a section of concrete that appeared to be popping up in the center and causing a tripping and driving hazard. We leveled the concrete and sealed the joints. Now it looks brand new again.
