A home owner in Shenandoah, Va wanted to have his crawl space encapsulated to ensure it would be protected from any possible moisture getting into the area. He called us at Fortress Foundation Solutions to complete this task for him. We put up our Clean Space vapor barrier around the entire crawl space to act as a guard from moisture, insects, and rodents. We also installed a Sani Dry Sedona dehumidifier to control the humidity levels. 

This homeowner in Shenandoah reached out to Fortress because the floors in their home had started sagging, and they has a crawl space that was damp and musty.

Fortress went out and installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier, SilverGlo Wall Insulation, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System to resolve these issues.

A customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they were concerned about moisture in their crawlspace. Crawl spaces are built on top of the earth. Most are not encapsulated with open, exposed dirt. This dirt contains the moisture that is naturally occurring in the ground. Many times water will actually pool inside the crawl space, causing mold, mildew and nasty smells. Our EZ Flow pipe fixes this problem. It will drain the ground water carrying it to the sump pump. This keeps pools of water from forming, keeping the earth dry.

This crawlspace in Floyd, VA was moldy and dirty. Fortress installed a CleanSpace Encapsulation. Now the crawlspace is clean and dry. Mold will not grow again as long as CleanSpace is on the walls and floor.
