This crawl space in Keene was leaking and moldy. The dirt floor was covered in a thin layer of plastic that did not stop water and mud from getting in. Fortress solved these problems by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation with a SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System to ensure that this crawl space will stay clean and dry!

This homeowner wanted to use their crawl space for storage and not worry about their stored items getting wet or dirty. With the help of System Designer, Danny Camunas, and our crew led by Foreman, Rob Burger, this crawlspace was converted into a dry usable storage space! 

A homeowner near Brightwood, VA, noticed soft spots in the floor of the kitchen. They had recently remodeled it, replacing the original, outdated kitchen from the 80's. As concerns grew, they decided to call Fortress Foundation Solutions. A System Designer completed a free inspection of the home and noticed some issues with the crawl space. The new, all wood cabinets with heavy stone countertops put extra weight on the main beam. Moisture inside the crawl space contributed to weakening the wood and a crack was now apparent. This home needed SmartJacks. SmartJacks are adjustable, steel columns can be added under a main beam or in combination with a supplemental beam. They provide support and stability to the entire home. This repairs crooked and sinking floors, creating a level surface, adding extra support. Fortress fixed their sagging floors and now these homeowners have their dream kitchen with no more worries.

Fortress Foundation Solutions raked and leveled this customer's crawlspace, removed old, ineffective black plastic barrier, and removed falling insulation. We then installed drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, FoamMax insulation, a TripleSafe sump pump with external discharge, and a SaniDry dehumidifier. The quality of our work ensures a trouble-free crawlspace!
