This dirty crawl space in Danville, VA needed some help! It was moldy and the insulation was falling down due to the high moisture levels. Fortress solved these issues by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation, a SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure the crawl space would stay clean and dry.

Fortress solved these issues by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation, a SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure the crawl space would stay clean and dry. Fortress also installed Push Piers outside of the house to support the foundation and prevent further sinking.

System Designer, Caleb Stone, presented the solution of Crawl Space Encapsulation to home owners in Danville, Virginia who were struggling with mold in their crawl space. After investigating, he discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage his wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. System Designer Skylar Beverage met with Jason, inspected his crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and the SilverGlo insulates to keep the home warm in winter and cool in the summer. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed removing excess moisture from the air, keeping the crawl space dry. Jacob has now protected his most important asset - his home!
