Dear. Mr. Newhouse: This is not a concern but rather a compliment. About 12 years ago, we hired your company to repair a leaky corner in a relatively new addition to our home. The problem seemed to be solved only to have it rear its ugly head again a few years later. Not a full-fledged flood but rather a continuing trickle and at the time did not seem to warrant getting you back out here and have us move all the furniture etc. in that portion of the basement to get it repaired. Finally, about 1 month ago our sump pumps failed and we had to move everything out anyway and thought I'd give you a call to see if you could fix the leak which had nothing to do with the basement flooding and/or the failure of the sump pumps. I called and you sent Jim Brehmer out to have a look. After scoping out the job he told me that there was new technology out that could repair the leak and not leave a mess. He was fantastic! The repair took about an hour and he was true to his word--there was no mess and everything was left as it was. I will paint the seam in 3 days and next month will paint the floor and this job is completed. I appreciate Jim's expertise and the fact that he communicated exactly what was going to happen and that is exactly the way it played out. And you were good to your word to cover this so long after the original repair was done. My hat goes off to you and your fine organization and am sure that our experience is typical of your other customers as well. By the way, I was in the Navy and was stationed with Danny M. of Kansas Basement Repair, El Dorado, KS who indicates that he knows you and sends his regards. We were both Navy Hospital Corpsman at Camp Pendleton, CA. Thanks again to you and Jim for a job well done. I will indeed spread the word and as a former operations manager for a mechanical contractor for about 15 years I know I always appreciated notes like these and trust you do as well.
