When a homeowner noticed a musty smell and excess moisture in their crawl space, they knew it was time for a solution. Worried about potential mould and damage, they reached out to us for help. We installed a dehumidifier to keep humidity in check and treated the wood surfaces with a mould prevention solution. To ensure proper drainage, we added a condensate pump. For better insulation and energy efficiency, we installed moisture resistant foam board. Finally, we encapsulated the space with a durable vapor barrier and drainage matting to lock out moisture for good. Now, their crawl space is dry, fresh, and protected, giving them peace of mind and a healthier home.
-A cleanspace vapor Barrier was installed to help with the musty smell and to help control a highly humid crawlspace

-A dehumidifier was installed to help control air quality and humidity
We take a comprehensive approach to keeping your crawl space dry, insulated, and protected. First, we install a durable drainage mat across the floor and partway up the walls to help prevent moisture from seeping in while also making the surface sturdier for storage. Next, we add high-quality insulation along the rim joists to improve energy efficiency and keep your home more comfortable. To ensure a healthier environment, we treat all wood surfaces with a specialized mold prevention solution. Finally, we securely fasten and seal a heavy-duty moisture barrier to the footings, piers, and foundation walls, creating a fully encapsulated space that helps control humidity, prevent mould, and protect your home from moisture-related damage.
This job requires the installation of a complete waterproofing system. The system includes the installation of drain tiles to manage water flow, a drain mat to protect the foundation, and a super sump system with a backup to ensure efficient water removal, even during power outages. This comprehensive system is designed to keep the basement dry and free from water damage.
