The before photo shows a home in Big Bear that didn’t have a supported floor beam. Throughout the crawlspace, there were either missing posts or posts that did not support properly. Having beams that are not supported properly or not at all can cause the beam to sag. Which is a major inconvenience for the homeowners since the damage is very noticeable. They want to fix the problem as soon as possible because they are wanting to sell the home and the damage will scare away potential buyers. The after photo shows a great example of how a properly installed post with caps looks like. Posts like this were installed throughout the crawlspace in the correct areas and replacing any unsupported posts. Now the homeowners can begin preparing to sell their home without any concerns.
