Jim E. from Brooksville, Florida had a very large concrete driveway riddled with cracks. Rather than replace the whole driveway, he called LRE Foundation Repair for an alternative solution. LRE determined that washed-out soils and exposure to the elements over the years had caused the common damage Floridians tend to see on their driveways. Luckily, LRE devised a perfect solution to make this driveway look new again without removing and replacing the whole driveway. First, LRE pressure washed the driveway and then applied NexusPro joint sealer to fill all joints and cracks. This product is a silicone-based sealer specially designed for exterior use that can withstand years of exposure to the elements. The next step was applying DecoShield, a translucent, tinted concrete sealer to the whole driveway. These combined products not only gave this driveway a new, clean look but will protect it for years to come, leaving this customer more than pleased with the results.
Jay and Jackie C. were experiencing settlement issues at their Brooksville, Florida home. They had cracks on their walls and noticed a gap forming between their ceiling. They wanted the problem addressed before it got any worse, so they called LRE Foundation Repair to come out and take a look. LRE assessed the damage and inspected the whole home determining loose and washed out soil conditions were to blame. LRE's specialist designed the perfect solution, and our crews got to work. Helical piers were installed around the exterior of the home. These galvanized steel piers are mechanically driven into the ground like a corkscrew, compacting loose soils. Once in place, they are attached to the home's footer with a bracket and the weight load of the home is shifted to the piers and off the ground for additional support. In the process, the home was lifted back level again, closing the large gaps. All work was buried underground leaving no trace. The completed project left these residents extremely happy knowing their home is now permanently stabilized.
Erica in Winter Park, Florida, had noticed numerous cracks forming in both the interior and exterior walls of her home over the past couple of years. Concerned about potential foundation issues, she reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for a thorough inspection. Upon visiting her home, our Design Specialist discovered that roots from a large oak tree next to the house had pushed against the foundation, causing instability and resulting in the cracks in the walls. After Erica had the tree removed, our team stepped in and installed our helical pier system along the affected side of the home to stabilize and lift the foundation back to its proper position, effectively closing the cracks. Erica was thrilled with the results and expressed great appreciation for our team’s efforts, as her home is now permanently stabilized.
Kathryn faced a persistent issue with rainwater flooding around the back door leading to the pool deck in her Ocoee, Florida, home. The channel drain that was initially installed in the pool deck was no longer functioning properly, prompting Kathryn to seek a more effective solution. She reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, where one of our Design Specialists developed a plan to install a new and highly effective drainage system. The LRE team installed a more robust channel drain and water routing system to prevent rainwater from pooling around the deck. With the flooding issue resolved, Kathryn no longer has to worry about the threat of water damage to her home's foundation.
In Groveland, Florida, Andrew sought an effective drainage solution for his home after experiencing significant flooding around the perimeter of his foundation following heavy rainstorms. He reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, and we sent one of our expert Design Specialists to assess the situation. After a thorough inspection, our specialist recommended installing an EZ Flow French drain around the home's perimeter. This system collects and diverts pooling rainwater through an underground drainage pipe to a pop-up relief drain located away from the property. Additionally, the downspouts from the roof’s gutter system will be directly connected to the underground drainage system to improve water diversion and prevent rainwater from pooling around the foundation's base. Once Andrew approved the plan, our team installed the new drainage system, effectively addressing the water pooling issue. With this system in place, Andrew can now feel confident that his foundation is protected against potential water damage.
