Zachary S. had a basement area of his Orlando, Florida home that continually had water intrusion issues and musty odors started penetrating his home. He called LRE Foundation Repair to help remediate his problems and make his house odor-free. After an inspection was completed, LRE determined faulty drainage around the exterior of his home was mainly to blame and designed the perfect solution to fix Zachary's problems once and for all. LRE installed CleanSpace Encapsulation technology which consists of vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment to dry out the space and eliminate odors. LRE also added a drainage system by installing pipe and pop-up drains to divert water away from the basement and the home. She previously had a drainage system installed that proved to be ineffective, so she asked us to help design an alternative solution. One of our Design Specialists visited Mary’s home to inspect the issue and developed a plan to install an EZ Flow French drain system along the sunroom's exterior walls. This system would work to collect and redirect water to a relief drain away from the home. With Mary’s approval, our production team soon stepped in and began installing the French drain by removing the appropriate amount of soil in order to position the system below the surface. Once the system was in place, we carefully concealed the French drain to provide a seamless appearance. Mary’s sunroom now benefits from an effective solution to prevent further water intrusion, much to her relief.

Gary B. had experienced a lot of damage to his home after a hurricane struck the area in Orlando, Florida. Water damage had not only infiltrated the house, but also the crawlspace area causing musty odors and sagging floors. He decided to call LRE Foundation Repair for help. LRE got to work in the crawlspace, removing and replacing wood joists, installing moisture barriers, insulation, and finishing the job with LumberKote, a protective sealer, to the whole area. To lift the affected section of the foundation back into place and close the wall cracks, our team installed the helical pier system. Lisa was delighted to see the cracks in her garage’s walls now closed, and she can now feel at ease knowing that this section of her foundation is now permanently stabilized.
