Before installing the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, drainage matting was installed on the crawl space floor to prevent water from pooling. It also keeps dirt and debris away from the barrier.

This Hanahan, SC homeowner became concerned about her crawl space when flooding water became too much for the sump pump previously installed to handle. She called Lowcountry Foundation Repair to schedule a free appointment with one of our inspectors. 

Our inspector suggested that she should have a SuperSump pump to allow for more water evacuation and Drainage Matting installed to waterproof the crawl space. Our drainage matting is a recycled high-density polyethylene matting with dimples that allow better conductivity for water to easily get to the perimeter drainage or sump pump. 

After one day of installation, the crawl space was waterproofed and the homeowner was very happy with the results!
