High humidity levels in the crawl space caused musty odors to seep into the upper levels of this customer's home. Our Aspen Air Purifier was installed in the customer's home after we encapsulated the crawl space and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. With these systems in place, humidity and musty odors don't stand a chance!

Moisture in the crawl space led to the floor above to rot and become unsafe. Our team assessed the issue and carefully removed the damaged floor and replaced it with new subfloor material to ensure a durable, safe space.

This Goose Creek, SC homeowner became concerned about his crawl space when he noticed his floors sagging and squeaking, and moisture in the crawl space. He called Lowcountry Basement Systems to receive a free estimate and schedule an appointment with one of our inspectors. 

Our inspector, Jason Ussery, suggested that we waterproof the crawl space by installing a SuperSump sump pump. SuperSumps are designed to relieve subfloor water pressure and evacuate water from the basement water control system. 

After four days of installation, the project was complete and the homeowner was more than pleased with the outcome! 

Before installing the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, drainage matting was installed on the crawl space floor to prevent water from pooling. It also keeps dirt and debris away from the barrier.

Our team replaced this homeowners rotten rim band due to a pipe leaking over an extended period of time and weakening the integrity of the wood.
