Corey K. of Marion, IL learned the hard way that it’s best to waterproof a basement before finishing it. His basement was partially finished when an alarming amount of water came leaking in. It stained his painted foundation floors and damaged the wood frames behind his finished walls so he called Woods Basement Systems.
Woods installed the Twin Pack sump pump system as part the waterproofing system. As shown in the picture, the sump liner is sealed with an airtight lid but is still accessible should one of the pumps fail. It contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps to ensure that even in heavy downpours, water is being pumped out and away from the basement through the discharge lines
This basement had years worth of water leaks that affected the walls and floor. Team Woods installed WaterGuard drains around the perimeter of the basement to collect the water leaks before they could enter into the basement and create water damage. This waterproofing project started with no protection and ended with a safe and dry room.
Eric from Marion, Illinois reached out to Woods Basement Systems to find a solution to keep water leaks out of his basement. Team Woods sent system design specialist, JD M., to the home to evaluate the space and conclude what products would help protect Eric's home from water damage. After looking over the home, JD gave the recommendation of installing a drainage system and a sump pump to keep the house safe and dry.
Foreman, Juan H., lead his team of installers to install the new WaterGuard drainage system into the basement floors. These drains will collect and direct pesky water leaks towards the sump pump. Since the home didn't have a sump pump, a TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to discard of the water leaks. This pump is composed of three pumps that will serve as a dependable system all year round. Thanks to Woods' top waterproofing products, this basement is protected from harmful leaks!
A sump pump was not able to handle the amount of water that was entering it in Marion, IL, causing it to overflow and pool onto the basement floor. To solve this issue, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. The TripleSafe can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will now remain dry for years to come!
