This customer was experiencing water in the basement and was tired of cleaning it up every time it rained. After we inspected, we realized the problem was the exterior drainage. These three systems will work in conjunction with one another to make sure three things happen:
This homeowner recently faced a leaky basement wall in her house. Water seepage through the walls was causing damage and making her worried. Midwest installed CleanSpace, a permanent solution that is far better than traditional paint and sealants as they can chip, peel, or flake away. Any water seepage is directed down into the drainage system as well. Additionally, CleanSpace is a good option for covering large boulders or dirt sections because it can be shaped around objects. Check out the before and after photos to see the transformation!

We sent System Design Specialist Todd King to inspect the basement and determine where the water was getting in as well as solve this water problem. Todd found that water was coming in through the cold joints and was causing pressure on the walls. He discussed the need for additional wall support with the homeowner, and the homeowner agreed that he needed to fix his basement problems soon.
One of our installation teams came to the house and started off by utilizing a full perimeter WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, a Lateral Line, and a partial height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep water contained and off the basement floors. Then, the team installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to pump water up and out of the basement. To address the wall pressure problem, out installation team replaced the older support braces with new, PowerBraces to effectively stabilize the walls of the newly waterproofed basement. The homeowner was extremely happy with the results and he can't wait to use his basement space however he chooses now. Check out the before and after!
Joyce just finished her basement in Adair, IA, and wanted to reduce the musty smell in her basement. She decided to give Midwest a call because she didn’t want the smell to affect the basement and ruin any work. During the inspection Service Technician, Brandon Rost recommended a new SaniDry Dehumidifier, the old one was low on freon and kept icing up. Once the new dehumidifier was installed the humidity level was able to be controlled.
The floor of this garge simply crumbled and cracked during the installation of the waterproofing system. The original pour of this concrete was horrible. It was not mixed correctly and was certainly too thin. We completely removed the floor, waterproofed the garage and restored the floor.
