This customer purchased their home back in September and has plans of selling it in a few years to make a profit. In order to do that he had to do something about his failing foundation walls. He got in touch with Midwest and we ended up installing the EverBrace wall restoration system. EverBrace saves foundation walls without the cost and disruptions associated with total foundation replacement. Now this homeowner doesn't need to worry about foundation issues when selling his house!
This homeowner has been worrying about his foundation walls at least once a day for the last 50 years. His basement walls are cracking and bowing in multiple places due to the outside soil expanding. Our crew installed PowerBraces to stabilize the wall and begin to correct them back to their original position.
This homeowner noticed that one of his foundation walls was caving in. He was concerned that this wall would cause many problems in the future, so he decided to give us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Todd King to inspect the wall and determine what was causing it to cave inwards as well as how we could help to fix this problem. When Todd arrives at this house, he saw that the wall was experiencing wall failure as pressure form the soil surrounding the foundation had caused this wall to bow inwards over time. Todd discussed this with the homeowner and determined that an EverBrace System would help to lock in and secure this wall for many years to come. Our installation team came out and installed just that, leaving the homeowner happy that his old farmhouse that was 3 generations of history for his family could continue to stand strong. This customer wanted to stop his front wall foundation from getting worse than it already was. The issue started because his home used to have a stoop on the front that settled and pushed the foundation wall inward. We used PowerBraces to support the bowing wall and potentially move it back to its original position over time.
