We did a CleanSpace encapsulation job in Harrodsburg, Kentucky because the homeowner wanted to stop mold growth. Of course, we also put in a SmartPump and SaniDry as well.
This crawlspace had some big rocks in it, but fear not, The Basement Doctor can navigate. CleanSpace matting is flexible enough for any obstruction, and will still block out all negativity.
This crawlspace was causing issues for the owner. Moisture, bugs, cold air, and mold were all seeping in, causing health problems for the crawlspace and the people living above. We installed CleanSpace liner and drainage all along the walls and floors of the crawl space, as well as a SmartSump sump pump and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
If you are looking for a home renovation projection to have done, a crawl space encapsulation may be the perfect choice for you. This crawl space was showing signs of moisture, as seen in the before picture below. Mold spores were beginning to rot away at the wood, so the customer wanted to block out moisture. We installed Clean Space all over the crawl space to properly encapsulate. We also installed a SmartSump which is equipped with an alarm to warn of power outages and plumbing issues. It also connects to the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which collects lots of water through the moisture in the air. The customer also opted for SilverGlo insulation, the shiny foam panels seen in the picture.
