Push Piers were installed at this home in Webster, MA to lift the home back to level after the foundation settled. The before picture shows the crack through the wall that is about two inches wide. After the Push Piers were installed to stabilize the foundation, you can see in the after picture that the crack is nearly closed.
We were contacted by a home owner looking to replace their pump and to install a Sanidry dehumidifier.
DryZone Basement Systems replaced the failing sump pump with the UltraSump Battery Back-Up System. If the primary pump fails for any reason, such as a power outage, the battery back-up system automatically turns on. We also added the Sanidry Sedona which will keep damp, musty odors away by drying and filtering the air.
These products will keep the homeowners basement dry all the time!
In the before photo you will see a sump pump the customer tried installing themselves. It couldn't keep up with the amount of water they were taking on so their basement was still flooding. In the after photo you will see our sturdy sump pump which is a permanent solution.
This basement in Hope Valley, RI was creating issues for this homeowner. The moisture getting into this basement caused some of the wood to rot which is never a good sign. Wood rot can get severe to a point where it weakens the support it provides to the floor above. To prevent further moisture intrusion, we covered the interior walls with CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier!
You will see water damage on the floor and wall from years of leaking in the Before. In the After, you will see the wet concrete where a full perimeter system has been installed to drain the water from the home.
