Deena realized her basement lacked an escape route and wanted one installed. She knew she couldn't do this herself, so after researching her options, she called Ayers for help. Our experts visited her home and recommended installing an egress window to provide easy escapes during emergencies. Egress windows are built to withstand pressure caused by heavy soil and water and prevent surface falls with a polycarbonate safety cover. Deena feels much safer in her basement!

Joe had been monitoring his wet basement for years, but when the water began to affect having his grandkids spend the night downstairs, he needed a solution. We installed our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump to help direct the unwanted basement water into our pump and discharged a safe distance away from the home. In addition, we installed our CleanSpace® Wall Vapor Barrier to make the walls appear clean and fresh, but also help hold back water vapor passing through and directing the water into the sump pump. With heavy rainfall, Joe would no longer have to worry if his basement would remain dry.

Brennan knew the small crack in his basement wall was only going to get worse so he called Ayers to resolve this issue quickly. After we had a crew conduct an inspection for free, we were able to recommend FlexiSpan. This is a solution that will not only fill the crack with a flexible sealant but it will also have a drainage layer added so if water did happen to leak it would be directed down the original wall out of sight. The water instead would go in the sub-floor drain we add below FlexiSpan. Brennan was relieved after this installation corrected his wall leaks because he now doesn't have to worry about paying for an expensive full wall remodel!

With the installation and air sealing of the basement complete, the last step to finishing this basement was to put up the Everlast wall panels. These panels are sturdy enough to hang even the heaviest TV and are easy to wash.
