This home in Lansing, MI had water issues in the basement. As our name suggests, here at Ayers we have solutions for those issues. We visited this home and decided it was a perfect candidate for the WaterGuard system. This subfloor drainage system consists of specially designed piping that is laid on top of the footing of the foundation. The piping is covered with concrete, except for a small opening where the floors meet the wall. This space allows wall leaks to drain into the whole, so the pipes can carry the water to the sump pump. In addition to a large inlet hole to collect water from WaterGuard, SuperSump has a sturdy liner with holes that also accept water from the ground. This sump pump pumps the water out of the basement and directs it away from the home through a discharge line.
Kasey and Iris recently had a child and noticed that their basement walls were cracks, allowing water to enter. During heavy rain, however, they found that some areas showed heavy water intrusion. To keep the home dry, clean, and maintain the property value, they wanted a waterproofing system that will last. We installed the WaterGuard French drain, the TripleSafe sump pump, SaniDry XP dehumidifier, and the IceGuard for a waterproofing system to fit their needs!
Victoria contacted Ayers as there seemed to be water pooling up by a specific wall in her basement. A System Design Specialist with Ayers inspected her home and determined water was leaking through the walls. Thus, the team at Ayers suggested installing WaterGuard in addition to the SuperSump Plus.
WaterGuard is an internal drain system installed along the wall and between the home's footing and the basement floor. This drain system catches any water coming into the basement through the walls and funnels that water into the sump pump, eliminating any problems.
In addition, since Victoria did not have a sump pump, she opted to install SuperSump Plus. The SuperSump is a sump pump system that houses a powerful pump that efficiently pumps water out of the house on any occasion! After everything was installed, Victoria no longer needed to worry about water issues inside her home!
Krystal was looking into getting a waterproofing system installed that would put an end to the wall leaks that would cause puddles in her basement so she called Ayers. It was settled by the free inspection we conducted that she would need our WaterGuard System, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and our SaniDry XP Basement Dehumidifier. WaterGuard is a below-floor drainage system that collects water or dirt seeping in through the walls as it is placed along the basement's perimeter. Then we added TripleSafe since this consists of three trusty pumps that fit in one durable liner and work together to keep water out. Lastly we installed our SaniDry XP Dehumidifier as this will clean and dry the air which reduces the risk of mold growth.
Krystal was thrilled with the final results since she won't have to worry about puddles of water soaking her belongings!
Angela called Ayers for help sealing up the wall crack in her basement that was causing water intrusion. We sent a team to inspect this problem area and from this it was decided that FlexiSpan would resolve this pesky issue. For this installation process first the wall cracks are filled with a watertight, flexible sealant and then another drainage layer is added for the case that water does permeate the membrane it would flow down the original wall. The water is directed to the drainage system we install below. Angela was happy with this quicker and more efficient fix rather than a full wall remodel!
