Troy, MI Homeowner Shocked by Condition of Crawl Space
A homeowner in Troy, MI reached out to HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair after struggling with the effects of their crawl space and foundation. There was trouble closing doors and windows and cracks appeared in the drywall. A musty smell was also permeating the home. After reaching out for help, one of HomeSpec’s senior project managers, Zach, went to the home to conduct a free inspection. Zach took detailed notes of the condition and measurements so he could develop a repair plan with the homeowner. After supporting the home, then the crew would be able to encapsulate the crawl space using a CleanSpace® vapor barrier to combat the musty smells from returning. The homeowner agreed to this repair plan and was happy when the project was completed.
