Rick went to their home and figured out that the water was leaking from their basement window. Rick proposed our Egress Window Well, which provides more natural lighting and fresh air while providing a safe emergency egress. Toni and Bonnie were confident in Rick's solution, so they signed the contract and followed through with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose, and his production team began the project by digging out the soil around the existing window, forming a large hole to fit the egress into. These window wells provide rigid construction that doesn't collapse from the backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. to complete the installation, our team backfilled the soil around the egress, ensuring that their working space was neater than when they found it. Toni and Bonnie were thrilled with the completion and their peace of mind was restored!

Our service technician, Mitchell, went to Perry's home, carefully inspected their problems, and proposed a solution that would work for them and their needs. Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. Inside the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system that prevents mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our ZenWall Insulated Panels around the entire basement wall perimeter, which gives the basement a finished look benefits your home by adding insulation and creating a heat-reflective vapor barrier on the walls. To complete the project, our crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them.

A homeowner in Cresco, IA, knew it was time to have a professional inspect their bowing and cracked foundation. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked their friends, who had a similar issue, for any recommendations. The friend referred them to work with us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our services. The homeowner was impressed with our work, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent Brady, one of our Design Specialists, to take a closer look. Brady arrived at the home and began his detailed inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Brady discovered the south foundation wall bowing significantly and needed to be permanently stabilized. Brady presented his proposal to the homeowner and they agreed with his plan. Next, Brady passed the proposal to the office to be finalized. Once they were given the final stamp of approval, the plans were assigned to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew to begin the project. Raul and his crew traveled to the home and started by installing four GeoLock Wall anchors along the south foundation wall. Once the GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, the crew installed 7 CarbonArmor strips along the east and west walls. Once both products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the basement better than they arrived. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing this basement was properly stabilized. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners relief knowing their home was secured from possible wall failure.  

A homeowner in Cresco, IA, was concerned after discovering their sump pump was not pumping water properly. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution before another heavy rainstorm. The homeowner had recently seen American Waterworks working on projects around Cresco, so they decided to look closer at our company. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's recommendations, and the plans were sent to our Logistics team to build the project. Once they gave the final stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Diego, and his crew to begin. Diego and his crew traveled to the home and started by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew installed the TripleSafe. Next, the crew went outside and installed an outside discharge line. Additionally, the crew attached an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is glad to replace its homeowners' struggling sump pumps.
