A homeowner in Zumbrota, MN, noticed odd noises from their sump pump. Worried about their sump pump making this noise, the homeowner knew it needed to be inspected. Our Foreman, Luis, and his crew were assigned to complete this project, so they traveled to the home. After they arrived, the crew started by removing the old sump pump from the home. After the old sump pump was removed, the crew installed the TripleSafe sump pump as a replacement. Additionally, the crew installed an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. The crew completed the project, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know they have the best sump pump in their basement. A homeowner from Zumbrota, MN, had recently learned about the dangers of radon gas and the hazards it poses to a household. He was afraid that his loved ones were being exposed to this hazardous gas, so he decided to find a radon mitigation specialist in Minnesota. After finding our website, he looked through our radon gas mitigation pictures and decided to claim his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mac C, was headed out to the home. 

When Mac arrived, he discovered that the homeowner had conducted an at-home radon test, which indicated higher-than-normal levels. So, Mac began his process by scouting out the best location for a mitigation system. When he was finished, he met with the homeowner. He began by saying that the homeowner was right to call us, explaining that radon is invisible, odorless, colorless, and tasteless, making it completely undetectable without proper testing. Mac went on to say that because the levels in the home were so high, he recommended a radon mitigation system. He explained that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner liked the sound of Mac's approach and signed on the spot. 

When the day of the project rolled around, our Foreman, Dakota, led his team through a flawlessly executed radon mitigation system installation.

One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled penny-sized holes into multiple spots of the driveway where the foam would be injected. He injected the PolyLevel foam until the concrete was leveled and raised to the appropriate height. Once the foam is injected, it takes about 30 minutes to cure, so Lee was able to see the transformation almost immediately. The entire process took a couple of hours.
