The homeowner pulled away the drywall to reveal a crack in the foundation wall and some water seepage marks. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. The Design Specialist inspected the basement and recommended a solution. The solution was to install FlexiSpan and Crack Sealant into crack to stop any water from coming into the basement.

A homeowner of a 1950s home in Concord, Massachusetts, recently purchased the home in June of 2022. The previous homeowner told them that water leaked into the basement near the bulkhead. Our design specialist recommended installing a perimeter drainage system in the basement to collect water entering the basement and send it to a sump pump which will push the water through the drainage line to the exterior of the home.

Our installation team arrived at the home and began by chipping out concrete around the perimeter of the basement so we could install our perimeter drainage and sump pump into the basement to collect any water. Then we plumbed the sump pump to the exterior of the home. On the outside of the home we installed our IceGuard and discharge line to carry water away from the foundation.
