This basement was getting water, once we put in a trench drain we installed our ThermalDry floor tiles.
This Sandy Hook home had water seeping in through the cements walls underneath the insulation and made its way into the drywall damaging it. The homeowners called the experts at CT Basement Systems and Brad diagnosed the issue and fixed it. To guide the water out of the home we installed our WaterGuard below floor drain. The WaterGuard is installed in a bed of gravel on top of the foundation footing which keeps it out of the "mud zone". The water is then collected and pumped out of the home by our premier SuperSump which is capable of pumping 2,200 gallons of water per hour. Because the previous insulation was damaged we installed our ThermalDry Basement Radiant Wall Barrier. The ThermalDry® Wall system protects the finished basement from moisture and water that passes through concrete foundation walls. This product serves as both a vapor barrier and also as a way to redirect water leaking through the basement walls into the drainage system below.
This Monroe, CT basement was experiencing a wet crawl space that was negatively affecting the entire home. The homeowner wanted a long-term solution and decided to contact the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution was to replace the inefficient sump pump and replace it with our patented SuperSump pump. This sump pump will collect the water that would otherwise enter the basement and discharge it away from the home. This product is essential for a waterproofed basement and the homeowner can now enjoy his dry space.
In this garage we installed a WaterGuard around the perimeter of the garage as well as a french drain system at the enterance of the garage. Then to remove the water completely we installed a TripleSafe Sump pump.

Keith Rongey was the System Design Specialist who came to the house to give him a free home evaluation. He concluded, that in order to prevent water vapor from entering through the walls, BrightWall Panels would need to be installed. BrightWall panels will direct wall seepage down to the perimeter drain lines that carry water to a sump pump. Not only will BrightWall keep this area dry, but the clean white panels instantly transformed this unpleasant basement into a beautiful one! (as seen in the after picture)
