He let the homeowner know they needed CleanSpace and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
One of our Foremen, Antonio Diaz, and his team would take on this project. They installed the CleanSpace throughout the whole crawlspace to ensure it stays moisture-free and will be protected from water damage. They also installed the Sedona in order to remove moisture from the air and protect the crawlspace from mold growth. A homeowner in Milford, CT had water damage in their basement from water seeping in. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find them a proper solution. Once they scheduled an appointment for a free estimate, it would be time for one of our Sales Consultants, Matt Abbassi, to come out to the home to provide them with a proposal for work.
Once the job was approved, it would then be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his team to install our waterproofing systems.
They installed a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. This is placed below the floor of the basement so that any water coming in from the walls or floors gets collected properly. A TrenchDrain was installed as well, which is a larger drain, to ensure water coming in through the doorway gets collected. Along with that, they installed a TripleSafe sump pump to collect the drained water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these top-of-the-line waterproofing systems, this homeowner will now have a dry basement and no longer have to worry about water damage.
A homeowner in Milford, CT had a foundation that was not properly stabilized. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a solution to this issue. While on a service call, one of our Service Technicians, Mike Furlo, went into the basement to assess the issues and propose a solution that our foundation team would be able to install.
Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and Jacob Scott to work on the installation. They installed two supplemental beams to the crawlspace. This would then be supported by 6 SmartJacks. These are jacks that are installed under the supplemental beam to hold it up. Once these SmartJacks are installed, they are then tightened to ensure stability in the foundation and the floor above the crawlspace. How much they tightened the SmartJacks was up to the homeowner and how much stability they wanted. Overall, with the SmartJack system, this floor and house will stay stable and completely supported going forward.
