The solution for this crawl space was to install CleanSpace to the floors. This would prevent any water seepage or moisture flowing to the crawl space and up to the main floor of the home. (stack effect) CleanSpace will protect against mold and rot. A dry crawl space will also be inhospitable to termites, cockroaches and other pests. One of our Sales Consultant, Rick Raucci, visited the home to assess the situation and propose a solution utilizing our products and systems.

One of our Foreman, Marcio Bahiense, and his team handled the installation. They put in our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor to capture water entering from the floors and walls. Next, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to safely discharge the collected water from the home. Additionally, our CleanSpace vapor barrier was applied to the walls to guard against moisture and direct water into the drainage system. Now, the basement is dry, giving the homeowner peace of mind!

One of our Foremen, Clive Burrell, and his team installed this job. They installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to collect water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. This Wallingford basement had a crack in its wall that was seeping water. The homeowner was concerned that this crack was just going to get worse and wanted to find a solution. The solution for this basement crack was to install FleixSpan. FlexiSpan will permanently stop water leakage and will not reopen like mortar-based repairs. A sealant is placed over the full length of the crack. Once applied, a strip of flexible and porous foam is installed over the crack. Lastly, a foam-lined channel is installed to direct water leakage to the WaterGuard System. Unlike sealant or mortar-based crack repair, the FlexiSpan System is not affected by hydrostatic pressure or slight movement in the basement! This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was thrilled with the product and result!

The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard System. This system is installed below the floor and it channels water that otherwise would enter the basement, and directs it to the sump pump, where it is discharged away from the basement. Around more problematic areas such as doorways, a TrenchDrain is installed. A TrenchDrain, as seen in the before and after photo, effectively captures surface water along openings and prevents flooding. This product is made from rugged reinforced plastic that will not crack or dent. The homeowner was thrilled with her waterproofed basement and was excited that the products truly worked in her basement!
