A customer in Northford, CT reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems because they had water seepage in their basement and needed a permanent solution. 

One of our Sales Consultants, Josh Kroop, went to the home to evaluate the issues and propose a full perimeter waterproofing system. 

Our Foreman, Moises Chantes, and his crew installed this job. In this before and after you see our WaterGuard drainage system that is below the floor (under the new cement) that will collect water and direct it into our sump pump. The SuperSump Plus that we installed will pump out all of that collected water from the home at a safe distance. Not pictured is another sump pump with our battery backup system as well as our Sedona dehumidifier. This was a large basement, so multiple of our products were needed to ensure this entire basement stayed dry all the time! 

Here we installed a trench drain, waterguard and sump pump to quicking remove any water from the basement. We also installed our BrightWall moisture barrier to make those concete walls more inviting and waterproofed.

One of our Sales Consultants, Doug Wheeler, met with the customer in their home to assess the issues and provide a proper solution for the basement. 

Eventually, it would be time for the installation, which would be done by one of our Foremen, Garfield Sanderson, and his crew. They installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps. This would take any collected water from our WaterGuard drain system and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The TripleSafe uses three pumps, a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup that will pump out over 11,000 gallons of water on a full charge. With this sump pump and our WaterGuard drains, this basement will stay dry all the time.

They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement to capture water coming in from the walls or below the floor. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these systems working, this basement will now stay dry, leaving the homeowner with nothing but peace of mind! 

This old basement window well was rusty and corroded. Water would collect inside it when it rained, and then leak into the basement through the window. We took out the old well and replaced it with our SunHouse window well enclosure. The clear cover and brightly colored sides of the SunHouse maximize the sunlight directed into your basement for a brighter, more attractive space. Meanwhile, the plastic cover keeps out dirt, debris, and water. The owners of this home can enjoy their basement more now that it's filled with bright natural light, and don't have to worry about water!
