We removed the existing and ineffective insulation, laid down drainage matting, installed SilverGlo Wall Insulation, and finally, installed CleanSpace liner. These products will ensure the crawl space stays dry, mold-free, and well-insulated, which will save the homeowners money on their energy bills.

Before, this crawl space was only protected by a thin sheet of plastic, that was trapping water underneath and mold was beginning to grow. Crawl space liners rest directly on the crawl space floor. If your crawl space is flooding, water can be trapped underneath, never making it to your perimeter drain. Our crews installed drainage matting to ensure the space stays dry. 

The raised dimples on our CleanSpace Drainage Matting gives the water flooding into your crawl space a channel underneath your crawl space liner. This directs the water flooding your crawl space to your perimeter crawl space drain and sump pump system.

A homeowner in Ashley, OH called Mid-State Basement Systems because his whole basement was damp and his crawl space had standing water and was overall not in good shape. We used SmartPipe, perimeter french drains specially designed for crawl spaces, to waterproof the crawl space. Then, we laid down drainage matting to prevent any potential water from puddling and instead run to the drains.
