During the nasty winter of 2017 we had many calls to our office from people who were having water flooding into their basements and crawlspaces. this home was no exception. Sometimes when things like this happen some home owners improvise until we can make it out to the home. That’s exactly what this homeowner did, he put a make shift sump pump in the crawl to at least minimize the water coming in. you can see in the before picture that it helped, but definitely was not a permanent solution to this homeowner’s problem. Our crew came in cleaned up the crawl installed a more efficient sump pump in a proper low point spot of the crawlspace along with a back-up battery and dehumidifier. It was also encapsulated without Cleanspace system to help keep out any water or moisture. Later on our crew came back out to finish putting in spray foam insulation.
This crawlspace in Lebanon was your typical crawlspace in terms of water and moisture and falling insulation. Our crew installed our patented CleanSpace System to finish the space and make it look amazing!
This home suffered from high energy bills and noted their crawlspace was a mess. From falling fiberglass, mud crusted on the old vapor barrier, and general debris that had accumulated. To address these issues and work towards a healthy home, they opted to have a full crawlspace encapsulation.
This home's owners had done a DIY sump pump and laid out their own vapor barrier, however, it wasn't keeping up with the groundwater around their home, and vermin were getting into the space still. To take back their crawlspace, the homeowners got a full crawlspace encapsulation, keeping this home dry and healthy.
The crawlspace of this home had a digger portion dug out to allow for easy accessibility, however it became a large muddy pool when the rains came along. To allow the homeowners access to a dry and healthy crawlspace we installed our dimpled drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, SmartSump pump, SilverGlo insulation, and this home was ready to go!
