This high crawl space was a musty and dusty area. The homeowners wanted to utilize the space for storage, but the 6 Mil vapor barrier was apt to rip and tear, and the moisture could cause mold spores. To address this they opted for a crawl space encapsulation, which is topped with CleanSpace and comes with a 25 year warranty against rips and tears. This space is now dry and healthy, and the homeowners can enjoy added storage.
This homes crawl space needed to be addressed. The old insulation was falling in pieces and the vapor barrier was littered with critter droppings and debris. Mud was caked over the old vapor barrier showing that water did rise in this space, which had pushed the barrier out of place. The homeowner chose to have our pipe, pump and plastic installed to provide a short term solution, knowing the plastic will need to be replaced every few years.
