This customer had been living in her new home for a few months before they found a door in one of the closets in their finished basement. When she opened the door she had found an unfinished portion of the basement that had visible standing water and damaged vapor barrier. Our crew installed a drainage system and encapsulated the unfinished space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier that is 20 mils thick and is tear resistant. She now had a dry space and even more storage without a worry of things getting ruined.
When you get a crawl space encapsulation system we make sure that the products we use can withstand the test of time. With traditional fiberglass insulation, it is recommended to replace every 5-6 years. However, our spray foam insulation lasts the life of the home. Spray foam insulation really keeps your heating and cooling bills down and with encapsulation, it makes a huge difference in temperature control in your home. The homeowner was so happy with his crawl space job and how open and airy it was in there.
