An old sump pump is always less powerful and fails to pump out a large amount of water during thaw days. And since our client’s basement was always wet we have replaced his new pump with our company’s sump pump systems.
Our SuperSump pump system evacuates water intercepted away from home and includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement.
Our client had a water infiltration problem every thaw season. To fix the problem, he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec to resolve his problem for good.
To do this, we installed a WaterGuard system along the perimeter of his basement. This innovative drain makes it possible to evacuate the water that infiltrates the basement without digging externally and without any maintenance. We also installed a sump pump system equipped with a main pump and another that works with a battery.
Thanks to the solutions of Systèmes Sous-sol Québec, our client benefits from a dry basement at all times.
Problem: The client who resides in the town of Rosemère had a crack in her foundation and water entered during the period of snowmelt and when there was rain. She wanted to fix this problem, as it had been going on for a while and she had tried to fix it, but unfortunately it had not worked the way she wanted.
Solution: The solution for this project was to put our product called Flexispan, this product is made from polyurethane that we inject into the crack. We then cover the crack with a polyurethane-based coating to create a beautiful light gray finish to match the coating to the concrete. Finally, we dig a small hole in front of the place where the crack is found and which will have the drainage membrane, in the event that there is water that tries to pass through the Flexispan. However, it will be redirected to the sump pump.
Problem: This Rosemère customer wanted to change his sump pump to a more efficient one. There are often power losses where it remains so it needed one that could continue to operate during power outages.
Solution: For this project, the solution that was chosen was to install our TripleSafe sump pump. This is provided with two levels for two different flow rates. When the first level is reached, the second automatically engages. In addition, this pump is equipped with a battery that triggers instantly upon loss of current. This is why it was the best option for the customer, because for him it was undeniable to have a pump that would work, even when the power was out.
