A new homeowner of a Rosemère residence had been living in her home since the fall, when one day during the spring thaw period, water had seeped into the basement of her property. Unfortunately, the lady had not been informed by the former homeowner that there was water infiltration in the basement.
When the lady contacted us to conduct a free inspection and estimate of her basement, she described the situation as very stressful and unpleasant. We understood her perfectly, for it is never pleasant to find a hidden vice on a new property. Fortunately, our team had the perfect solution to solve the lady's problem.
A team of technicians specializing in basement waterproofing installed a WaterGuard interior foundation drain and a SuperSump sump pump. You can see the difference between the existing pump and the one we installed in the picture above.
Now the lady can use the basement of her new home in comfort, without worrying about having water on her basement floor.
Our client was having problems with his wet soil due to infiltration of water at the joints of the wall-soles.
We have waterproofed this house in Sainte-Adele, insulated it and encapsulated it!

Cellars areas are sometimes used by the owners to store several objects and products as is the case of our client in Sainte-Adèle. This family contacted us to isolate their cellar area because infiltration of water and moisture threatened their property. To stop their worries, we recommended insulating the stone walls with our Foamax wall insulation that holds the heat inside. Then we insulated the floor with TerraBlock which is a product specially designed for crawl space floors. We also installed our CleanSpace Drain Mat and Vapor Barrier and SuperSump Sump Pump System to evacuate all intercepted water away from home.
Problem
Water infiltration under the concrete slab in the basement.
Mr. Francoeur wants to prevent future damage related to water infiltration and humidity.
Solution
Installation of a WaterGuard interior foundation drain and a SuperSump sump pump system.
Mr. Lepage had just bought his house and he quickly discovered hidden defects. At the walls, interior and exterior, there were several cracks on the foundation, around the basement window, on the brick wall.
The client contacted us and our customer service team made an appointment with one of our foundation experts.
John, our specialist, completed his full assessment of almost 2 hours. He immediately saw that the client's concerns were realistic and that the foundation had to be stabilized. The sagging foundation causes negative effects on the rest of the house, so waiting will only make matters worse. The suggested solution was the installation of 3 PushPiers screw piles, ensuring a permanent solution to stabilize the foundation. We are delighted to have solved the problem of this customer, in Sainte-Catherine, Qc.
