Brian P. has owned and rented his Lexington, SC home for a few years now. He decided to start investing in properties to help with his retirement fund. This particular home was the perfect place for a single mother and her two children. When his tenant's child got hurt on the front porch, Brian wanted to do anything he could to help. He had known that the concrete porch had started to sink but did not consider the safety hazard it could pose. Brian asked one of his friends who he should call for the repair and they suggested Cantey Foundation Specialists. Brian called in and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist Richard Early. After his inspection, Richard sat down with Brain to tell him how he could best help his tenants. The PolyLevel process would begin with small holes being drilled through the concrete slab. These would be the injection sites for the liquid PolyLevel that would find all the voids and fill them. Once the PolyLevel was injected, it would take 15 minutes to harden. As the PolyLevel sets, it lifts the concrete slab above while stabilizing underneath the slab. Brian felt sure that this was the solution that needed to be in place to keep this single mother and her children safe. Production Team Leader Roberto Buchner and Production Team Member Josh Hough came out and successfully injected the PolyLevel process. Brian is happy with the results and is thankful to Cantey for helping him keep his tenants safe.
Elaine E. moved into her Lexington, SC home 12 years ago with her family. It has been the perfect home for them since they love to be outside. The pool out back and the views of the lake are the perfect setting for her family. The concrete around the pool is beautiful and even includes a compass etched in near the pool. About two years ago, Elaine noticed that one of the concrete slabs near the entrance of the pool was sinking. This did not become a concern until her son tripped and fell on the gap that had formed there. Elaine knew that she had to get it fixed and secure the rest of the area so that no one else would get hurt. She went on HomeAdvisor looking for a company that could repair the concrete without having to replace it. She found Cantey Foundation Specialists and they came highly recommended. She put in a request and was called soon after to schedule an appointment for an inspection. System Design Specialist TJ Harden arrived for the appointment and did a thorough inspection of the whole pool deck. He determined that Cantey's PolyLevel solution could fix the problem area as well as stabilize the rest of the pool area. He explained to Elaine that the process would begin with the crew drilling small holes through the concrete. The PolyLevel solution would then be injected underneath the concrete slab. This solution would start as a liquid and expand, creating lift and stabilization. Within minutes this solution hardens, producing a solid foundation for the concrete slab. The drill holes are then filled and the project is complete. Elain was impressed that this process would allow her to keep her beautiful pool deck but also fix the area she was worried about. Production Crew Leader Roberto Buchner and Production Crew Member Brooks Walker arrived as scheduled and installed the PolyLevel solution successfully. Elaine can now let her children go out and play by the pool without worry.
Brad A. installed a pool at his Lexington, SC home a few years ago to give his kids a place to have fun and cool off in the summers. Since then, Brad has made many memories with his kids and has no regrets about installing the pool. That is except for the concrete around the pool. A few weeks ago, Brad's son tripped over the area of concrete that had sunk around the pool steps. Luckily there was not a serious injury but Brad knew, something had to be done. While watching the news one night after the incident, he saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists and their concrete leveling service. Brad called Cantey and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist TJ Harden. TJ arrived an did an inspection of the pool area before sitting down with Brad. TJ explained to Brad that Cantey's PolyLevel solution would be perfect to resolve this tripping hazard. The PolyLevel solution would begin with small holes being drilled through the concrete. Then a liquid solution would be injected underneath the concrete that would fill all the void. This liquid would then expand and harden to create lift for the concrete slab. Brad was pleased that not only would this solve his tripping hazard but that it would cost less than replacement. Production Crew Leader Jeremey Wilson and Production Crew Member Nick Collins came out and effectively injected the PolyLevel solution. Brad no longer has to worry about his children playing by the pool because his pool deck is finally level and stabilized.
Mr. and Mrs. Duseberg were worried about their concrete walkway leading up to their outside storage closet. They had accounts of tripping and almost falling dozens of times over their sidewalk, so they decided to call Cantey. Within two hours, we fixed their tripping hazard and could put their mind at ease. Now when they are taking things out or putting things in, they don't have to worry about the pestering crack that they used to trip over.
If you’re worried about the longevity of your concrete, you may want to think about sealing the joints and cracks that make up your driveway, sidewalk, or other concrete feature. Nexus Pro is a silicone-based sealant that prevents water ice and dirt from infiltrating the concrete joint and the ground below. It can also work in the reverse by preventing things from below your concrete from rising up, such as radon gas. Finally, our Nexus Pro solution can help improve the look and finish of your concrete slab.
