Roger K. of Honea Path, SC used his unfinished basement for storage; however, he noticed after heavy rains that the basement would flood creating high levels of humidity.  After installing a dehumidifier, he realized that mold still began to grow throughout the basement.  Researching online, Roger called Cantey Foundation Specialists to receive a free estimate on an encapsulation.  Production Team Leader Matt Garcia and his crew remediated the mold, graded the soil, and completely encapsulated his basement.  Now, Roger can enjoy a dry, bright, and clean basement where he can safely store all of his possessions.

Jarret N. of Ridgeway, SC had concerns about his crawl space; he noticed mold growth and moisture issues throughout the area, and he was worried that it would start affecting his foundation.  After calling Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate, System Design Specialist James Davis explained to Jarret that the best solution to his problems is to completely encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace system.  The production crew led by Foreman Matt Garcia began the installation by removing all the insulation and correctly grading the soil in the crawl space.  Next, they installed a SumpPump to ensure that any water would be pumped away from the home.  Lastly, they covered the entire crawl space in a thick vapor barrier, which will keep moisture levels low enough to stop and prevent any future mold growth.

Clifford L. started to notice his floor becoming unlevel in his living room. He wanted to ignore the issue, believing that it would be costly to fix. Unfortunately, he soon could not ignore the problem any longer and knew he needed to fix his floors to ensure that he would not get injured. Specialist Jamie went through Clifford's crawl space and found dry rot wood that had been caused by moisture. Specialist Jamie explained to Clifford that to save his floors, he would need to replace the wood that had been damaged and install CleanSpace technology to block out any additional moisture that could cause more damage. Team Leader Matt Garcia along with Team Members Nick Riddick and David Herbert came out and successfully replaced the wood and installed Cantey's patented CleanSpace system. Clifford no longer has to worry about the structure of his floors, and he could not be happier with the service that the Cantey team provided.
