The homeowner of this house in Goose Creek, SC was experiencing problems with crawl space flooding and standing water. This can cause a variety of problems including wood rot and issues with your HVAC system. The homeowner wanted the issues to be resolved so that the standing water would not continue to cause serious damage. We installed a Smart Sump Pump with an exterior drain to pump the water out of the crawl space and away from the house. 

Guaranteeing a dry space free of mold, allergens and pests, this crawl space got a complete make-over with a CleanSpace Encapsulation System. These homeowners can relax knowing their crawl space is now a healthy and usable area. 

Dave Mathis of Hanahan, SC noticed that he had sagging floors in his house. Dave called Cantey Foundation Specialists to come figure out a solution. System Design Specialist Kendall Moore inspected the crawl space only to find out there was wood rot along with the sagging floors. Meaghan and Lucas J. have lived in Hanahan, SC for about 10 years now. Their home has been a perfect size for their family. As the summer was starting, Meaghan started having problems with her allergies. When she went to the doctor and they asked if she had checked on her crawl space recently. Unfortunately, she and Lucas had not so they did an internet search to see if they could have an inspection done. They came across Cantey Foundation Specialists and made an appointment. System Design Specialist Patrick Edwardson arrived for the appointment and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. He found puddles of water that were causing mold to grow all over the crawl space. Patrick explained to Meaghan and Lucas that something needed to be done quickly for their health and safety. This would eliminate the mold growth and provide cleaner air for the family to breathe. The CleanSpace system starts with a liner being installed around the walls and piers. It is then laid across the floor of the crawl space and then secured at the top using spray foam adhesive. This creates a barrier that keeps all of the moisture and pests out. Meaghan and Lucas wanted some relief and they were sold on the solution that Patrick had drawn up. Production Crew Leader Aubrey McJunkin, Production Crew Member Francisco Lopez, and Production Crew Member David Watson came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Meaghan and Lucas are now happier and healthier with their CleanSpace installed and they have already recommended Cantey to their friends.
