Claus B. of Charleston, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists because he wanted to get his second property ready to rent, but the property had numerous moisture issues. After the home was inspected by Specialist Grayson Forehand, Grayson explained to Claus that our CleanSpace encapsulation system would drain water away from the home and lower the humidity levels in the crawl space. This ensures that future problems would not happen, such as weakened floor joists and mold.
Claus and Elizabeth B. were ready to rent out one of their homes in Charleston, SC, but they wanted to make sure the home was in living condition before renting to students of College of Charleston. Calling Cantey Foundation Specialists, Specialist Grayson Forehand inspected the home and found numerous problems including high levels of humidity in the crawl space and rotting wood beams and subfloor.
Specialist Grayson recommended Cantey's patented CleanSpace encapsulation system, which would not only lower the humidity levels, but it would also make the crawl space cleaner, brighter, and dryer. Grayson also recommended replacing and repairing all of the damaged subfloor and wood beams and sister joists. This ensured that the home would not have sagging floors and would be safe for renters to walk and live on for many years to come. Claus and Elizabeth wanted the work done correctly and quickly, so they hired Cantey Foundation Specialists.
Robert M. has lived in his Mount Pleasant, SC home for many years with his family. He just retired and has been enjoying life in the low country. Having more free time on his hands, Robert has been able to take better care of his home. When he was looking into his crawl space one day, he realized just how much moisture there was. He wondered what kind of effect this was having on his home and the air inside his home. Robert asked some of his neighbors if they had similar problems and one of them recommended that he call Cantey Foundation Specialists. Robert gave Cantey a call and set up a free inspection with System Design Specialist Patrick Edwardson. Patrick arrived an did a through inspection of the crawl space and took some readings before sitting down with Robert. Patrick explained that the moisture content in the crawl space was causing issues with mold on the wooden beams and was probably getting into the air ducts as well. He explained to Robert that the CleanSpace system would be the only barrier that would prevent this moisture from causing further damage. A thick liner would be installed on the floor, walls, and piers of the crawl space. It would then be secured and then sealed with spray foam at the top. This would be a complete barrier between the moisture and the crawl space, leaving a clean usable area. Robert was impressed by this system and scheduled an installation date. Production Crew Leader Matt Garcia, Production Crew Member Josh Hough, and Production Crew Member Levi Johnson came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Robert is now confident that his home is protected while breathing cleaner air than ever.
Jim N. has lived in Mount Pleasant, SC for his whole life. He and his family found the perfect home for them and have been there ever since. Jim loves to get out and enjoy all that the area has to off but of course, there is no place like home. Although Jim has always had trouble with allergies, they seemed to get worse a few months ago. He mentioned this to his friend and was told it could possibly be because of his crawl space. This friend, Grayson, is a System Design Specialist for Cantey Foundation Specialists. He has continuously seen people have problems with their allergies because of the condition of their crawl space. Grayson came over to do an inspection for Jim and found falling insulation and other signs of moisture damage. After the inspection, they sat down together and Grayson explained how Cantey's CleanSpace system could help Jim and his whole family breathe better. The CleanSpace system consists of a thick liner that is installed on the walls, floor, and each pier in the crawl space. Once the barrier is in place, a spray foam adhesive is injected around the top of the liner to provide a complete barrier. The crawl space is then protected from moisture and pests that can get into the air of your home. Jim wanted the CleanSpace installed to try to help with his allergy issues and scheduled an installation date. Production Crew Leader Israel Santana, Production Crew Member Nick Rish, and Production Crew Member Zenen Dominguez came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Jim is now breathing better than ever and is thankful to his friend and Cantey for providing a healthier environment for his whole family.
