After years of dealing with watering entering the basement of their home in Epsom, New Hampshire, the homeowners hired Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems to permanently waterproof the basement.
A Saint Johnsbury, VT homeowner contacted us with concerns regarding the water entering her basement due to a slop at the end of her driveway. We found a solution to fix the problem. First, our team of specialists installed a TrenchDrain at the base of the driveway to capture the water before it has the opportunity to enter the basement. Second, the team installed a lateral line from the TrenchDrain to a SuperSump Pump, to pump the water outside through a LawnScape. This will keep the basement dry and a safe storage for the homeowner’s belongings.
Lyndonville, Vermont homeowner was concerned about the water entering his basement in serval locations during the spring months as snow began to melt. The basement is partly finished with 2x4 wood framing, this wood getting wet could promote the growth of mold over time, if the homeowners did not find a solution to keep the basement dry.
Our System Design Specialist recommended a WaterGuard Drainage System along the back and side walls where the water was entering. This system is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor to collect water before it enters the basement. Additionally, we recommended a TripleSafe Sump Pump System, with no battery back-up pump. The home is solar powered so the homeowners had little to no concern about the possibility of a power outage.
With this system in place, the home will be protected from winter thaw for years!
