A family in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, was in the process of remodeling their basement. The first thing they wanted to do was find a permanent solution to stop water from entering the basement. After researching and talking to a local contractor, they called Matt Clark's Northern Basement Sytems. Northern Basement System designed a custom waterproofing system, with patent waterproofing products, to ensure the family's basement won't have water in their basement.
We provided this long-term customer with yearly maintenance and service to keep his system running as it should. The homeowner recently had his oil tank removed and wanted to alter the WaterGuard drainage system in that area to give it a more finished look and make that space more usable.
When the system was installed, the perimeter drainage was placed around the oil tank slab to prevent water from entering the basement, once the oil tank was removed, the raised slab remained and made that corner unusable.
Our service team jackhammered out the raised slab and added WaterGuard Drainage along the perimeter wall, then concealed the system with concrete to give the space a clean and finished look.
We always want to hear from our customers regarding annual services and system improvements! It's important to service waterproofing and foundation systems annually to ensure that all parts are operating as they should and to find any problems before they find you!
