A home in Weare, New Hampshire, located on a pond, was continually getting water in the basement. After a free estimate from Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems, the system design technician found the water was entering two ways. The first way, through the wall, via hydrostatic pressure, and the second, up from the footing of the foundation. A variety of custom patent waterproofing products were used to turn the wet basement into a dry, clean, useable space. First, a Clean Space Wall System was installed along the perimeter of the entire basement. Next, the Water Guard Drainage System goes into a trenched out area along the border of the foundation floor. The water guard is then tied into the newly installed Triple Safe Sump Pump, which pumps out any water and delivers it down a discharge line, out of the basement, away from the house. To finalize the project, an energy star efficient Sedona Sanidry Dehumidifier and Air Filtration System is set up and tied directly into the sump pump.
