The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard System. This system is installed below the floor and it channels water that otherwise would enter the basement, and directs it to the sump pump, where it is discharged away from the basement. Around more problematic areas such as doorways, a TrenchDrain is installed. A TrenchDrain, as seen in the before and after photo, effectively captures surface water along openings and prevents flooding. This product is made from rugged reinforced plastic that will not crack or dent.
