A homeowner in Guilford, CT was getting water in their basement due to heavy rains. They contacted us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent waterproofing solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Josh Kroop, visited the home to assess the issues and propose a solution with our products/systems. 

One of our Foremen, Vic Varela, and his crew installed this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, to collect water coming in from the floors and walls. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to pump out the collected water safely out of the home. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was put on the walls to protect from moisture and lead water from the walls into the drain system below. Now this basement is dry and the homeowner is left with peace of mind! 

Homeowners in Guilford, CT expressed interest in replacing their antiquated sump pump system. Experiencing issues with moisture throughout portions of their basement, they decided to reach out to Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.

Upon calling, the homeowners made contact with Sales Representative James Stablein. Stablein listened to their concerns, measuring the basement to put together a proposal documenting potential waterproofing solutions.

Once the proposal was approved, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin the install. Working off of Stablein's proposal, the install included our WaterGuard French drain system around the perimeter, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and our TripleSafe sump pump system. These systems work in tandem to mitigate moisture, expelling it to a safe location outside of the home.

With the install complete, the homeowners were thrilled with the results and looks forward to enjoying their stress-free basement!

They installed our WaterGuard drain system around the perimeter of the basement to collect any water coming in from the floors or walls. Then they installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps to take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. These systems will keep the basement dry all the time. 

Water used to flood this basement through the hatchway on rainy days. To prevent water from entering the home, our team installed the TrenchDrain grated drain along the basement enterance. Any water passing over the drain is collected through the openings and redirected to the sump pump. The homeowners can have peace of mind during rainstorms now!
