I wanted to bring to your attention the level of customer service I recently experienced from one of your associates, Gary Meglino. CT Basement was recommended by my broker to address some water that had made its way into the basement. As it happens, I was experiencing a roof leak that allowed water to enter the house in the area of the family room and this water made its way directly below the house and into the basement.
I am in the process of selling the home, and of course - on the day the prospective buyers viewed the house water was everywhere! I had your team come out to inspect and the recommendation was the installation of a sump pump in the area where water had once stood. These buyers proved to be very difficult and insisted to speak in person with the CT Basement representative who inspected the area to confirm no additional work was recommended or required.
Gary handled himself very professionally with an extremely difficult individual. I was concerned, as the buyers were trying to “bully” Gary into recommending work that was not necessary. Gary proved to be the expert I am sure CT Basement prides itself in having on the team. He stood his ground. We subsequently went back to the buyers and invited them to hire another basement company to both inspect the install of the sump pump and determine if any additional works were required.
I was not surprised when they declined to go down this path and instead entered into the contract to purchase.
I normally do not write letters like this, but I really appreciated the patience and professionalism that Gary showed throughout this difficult process. He made himself available and was instrumental in getting me across the finish line with respect to this final issue.
Thank you for your service and please let Gary know his work and dedication are much appreciated.
