Mel M. of Ellisville, Missouri had water coming into his basement, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for help. Systems design specialist, Max D. was able to find a solution and recommended installing a CleanSpace encapsulation system and WaterGuard.

Foreman, Tyler S. installed the products. CleanSpace is a very durable, vapor barrier made of inorganic materials, so it is not susceptible to mold growth. It is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system, so it is installed below the CleanSpace around the perimeter of the basement floor. It takes the collected water and guides it to the sump pump to be fully removed from the home, keeping it nice and dry.

A crawlspace's insulation was failing in Ellisville, MO, and moisture was entering it. It was also not supported correctly, causing even more issues. To fix these problems, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier infused with graphite, so the heat is reflected into the crawlspace, saving energy.
