A crawlspace liner was failing to keep the moisture out of it in Farmington, MO, and it was making the crawlspace environment damp. To solve this issue, the CloeanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It will also control water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. The white finish will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside. This crawlspace will now remain dry and clean for years to come!

A crawlspace was structurally failing in Farmington, MO, so the SmartJack System was installed. These are steel support systems that can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in a crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all!

The SmartJack System was then installed. It consists of custom-cut steel beams. They are placed in galvanized fill to equally distribute the weight of the building. They can be tightened over time. This allows maintenance to be done as the ground continues to shift without requiring another costly install. With these two installs in place, this crawlspace will be clean and stable for many years to come.

Foreman Kevin J. and his crew installed CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls and WaterGuard around the perimeter. The CleanSpace used on the walls will collect any water vapor that makes it through the porous walls. Instead of evaporating into the basement, it will now be caught and redirected to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard will collect the water and take it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
