Andy S. of Oakwood, Illinois had an old rusty sump pit and need it to be replaced, so he decided to call woods Basement Systems to find a solution. Systems design specialist, Greg B. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard.

Foreman, Tyler S. installed the products. THe TripleSafe sump pump uses its primary pump, secondary pump, and battery-powered backup pump to guarantee that your home stays dry. The WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it collects water that seeps through the walls. It then takes that water and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.

A basement in Oakwood, Illinois had some water leaking through the wall and collecting along the perimeter. To fix this issue, Woods came out and first installed the CleanSpace System. This system seals the wall and directs water to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard was installed next. This is a series of piping that runs directly underneath the floor, effectively keeping out debris and dirt to avoid clogging. These pipes guide the collected water to the nearby sump pump to be removed from the home. Thanks to these two installs, this home will stay dry for decades to come.

Many homes, like this one in Carbondale, IL., have dirt crawlspaces. A dirt crawlspace may seem harmless enough, but it can actually damage your home as well as decrease its energy efficiency. 

The dirt in a crawlspace can allow animals and bugs to burrow in, as well as water vapor. A dirt crawlspace is also totally uninsulated, allowing conditioned air to escape and allowing humid, hot air in during the summer and frigid, cold air in during the winter. Dirt crawlspaces are full of problems.

But there is a solution to these problems; CleanSpace™. CleanSpace™ is a vapor barrier similar to a pool liner but specifically designed for crawlspaces. A crawlspace access door was not sealed correctly, so moisture and debris were entering the crawlspace. To fix this, an EverLast Access Well was installed for the below-grade crawlspace door. This well is big enough to crouch down and enter the crawlspace, and will last for years without rusting rotting, or needing paint. It also comes with an airtight lid to keep moisture and debris out of the crawlspace. This will restore peace of mind for years to come!

A sump pump was malfunctioning in Marshall, IL, so the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from common problems with an ordinary pump. The TripleSafe can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump.
