Water was coming down the basement walls in a basement in Springfield, IL, causing damage to them as well as the carpet. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed behind the drywall. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system which will then pump this water out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain clean and dry for years to come!
Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Springfield, IL, and the support blocks were failing. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was first installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It also controls water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. The white finish will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside. Additionally, the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the crawlspace and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced. Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will remain dry and stable for years to come!

Laurie and Kurt R. of Springfield, IL had a leaky crawlspace that was completely unusable for storage. They’d tried putting a plastic liner in the crawlspace before but it was flimsy and did nothing to keep water out of the crawlspace so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a crawlspace encapsulation system.
Along the walls and floors of the crawlspace, Woods installed CleanSpace as part of the crawlspace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a thick, durable plastic liner similar to a pool liner that is secured and sealed completely against the crawlspace walls and floors. It’s provides a moisture barrier that prevents encroaching water from entering the crawlspace, directing it instead down to the perimeter drainage system.
Kurt and Laurie R. of Springfield, IL had a completely unusable crawlspace. Water would leak in each time it rained and turn the dirt floors into a muddy mess and the standing water fostered mold growth so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a crawlspace encapsulation system.
As part of the crawlspace encapsulation system, the SmartSump was installed (shown in the picture). The SmartSump liner was designed to form an airtight seal with the moisture barrier and contains a powerful, cast-iron pump to remove encroaching water out and away from the crawlspace. The SmartSump lid is also equipped with a WaterWatch alarm to alert the homeowner of possible plumbing leaks in the crawlspace.
