Paul called our team to ask us to encapsulate it. Although he wasn’t experiencing any moisture issues, he knew how much money he could save on his heating and cooling bills with a sealed off crawl space. So we installed CleanSpace, a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. This material will be applied to your floors and walls to create a sleek look and an uninterrupted barrier.

Water was standing in Barb’s crawl space so she called our team. We installed CleanSpace in order to encapsulate her crawl space. CleanSpace is used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. This system creates an energy-efficient crawl space, and it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. Jeff and Pam wanted to get their crawl space fixed up and protected from unwanted water, mold, or other nuisances. The couple went ahead and called Ayers to go through possible solutions. We sent out a crew to take a look at their crawl space and it was decided they could use our Drainage Matting, CleanSpace, and our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.

The first product we installed was our Drainage Matting which is a raised dimpled mat that is placed directly on your crawl space floor. The benefit being it will catch any water and direct it to your sump system. Next we installed CleanSpace which is a thick, durable plastic liner with a vapor barrier that goes over the Drainage Matting and ensures protection against excess water and moisture. Therefore, it will even protect against the development of nasty mold or bacteria! Last of all we installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. This will eliminate damp, musty odors by filtering and drying the air in your crawl space. It also filters icky mold spores and dust mite droppings.

Crawlspaces can be a cold, dirty and a musty place. A customer in Traverse City called about the problem they were having with their crawlspace. The dirt floor, along with the plastic covering, was not working for this customer. Our CleanSpace Encapsulation System allows for a massive upgrade for this Crawlspace. The durable, bright white crawl space liner installs on the walls and floors, preventing water vapor and humidity from passing through. Making this crawlspace, as good as new!

Gloria had Ayers Basement Systems encapsulate her crawl space with our CleanSpace Liner. We finished it off with a new Everlast entry door. This door locks smoothly into place and fits snug to make sure no moisture or outside air are getting into her crawl space. The Everlast door helps keep Gloria’s crawl space dry and free of mold and bacteria.
